Fellow residents of Heacham (from your Parish Council)

HEACHAM CARNIVAL PARADE AND VILLAGE FETE – SUNDAY 2 AUGUST 2026

Over many years Heacham residents (and our holidaying visitors) have enjoyed tremendously the annual Carnival parade and Village fete. The event has always featured as a significant opportunity for young and old to gather together and enjoy the spectacle and activities, in the company of family and friends.

The organisation, conduct and marshalling of the Carnival Parade is the responsibility of the Heacham Parish Council. Whereas, the following ‘fete’ – historically held on the sports fields of the Heacham Trust charity – has been organised by members of Heacham Club Ltd. Both events have raised funds for local charities and village clubs.

Fortunately, the planning for both the Carnival Parade and fete are well advanced.  And, importantly, the Heacham Trust Charity has given permission for the Carnival Parade to conclude at the Sports Field (as usual), but difficulties have come to light regarding the organisation and conduct of the fete. This is unfortunate. It is hoped that these latter difficulties can be overcome soon in order for this Summer high spot of Heacham’s social calendar to go ahead as usual, but, if not, in a slimmed down form.

Rest assured that your Parish Council is doing all that we can to deliver a successful Carnival Parade.
