Community Building Projects

The Clinic Site

Project Purpose
Following community consultation, the purpose of the project is to redevelop the former clinic site on Pound Lane to consolidate the services provided by the Parish Council into a modern, accessible central building. This site was chosen after the Old Dairy premises were deemed too expensive and larger than required for the community’s needs. The redevelopment aims to create a valuable asset for Heacham, offering residents a versatile community hub for information, services, and activities.

The project will be managed by the Parish Council, supported by professional services, with progress reported via the Project Highlight Report.

Benefits of the Project

  • Improved service delivery for residents.
  • A single, convenient location for parish and community activities.
  • Streamlined service provision and reduced operational costs.
  • Creation of a community-owned asset that meets future needs.
  • Increased value and impact of the precept on the community.
  • This will be financed by the sale of the Old Dairy Site reducing costs for the community.
